Shireen has been kind enough to obtain space for us at Killarney Provincial Park. The plan is as follows
Evening of June 30th : Drive to Killarney Provincial Park;
Note : If you are interested to join us at the Cottage : We have rented a Cottage that can accommodate all 9 of us, there are 3 Double Beds and one Sofa bed which will be good for 8 people and I will sleep on the floor. . All necessary bedding will be provided but we need to bring our own towels.
There is a Restaurant across our Cottage that will be open between 5:00PM to 9:00PM.

A total amount of $138.77 will be divided between those of us using the cottage.
July 1 Thurs: - Meet up at Bell lake access at 9am Put in (likely at 11.30am) and paddle ~ 5 km to Balsam lake(short easy portage) to spend first night
July2 Fri - portage to David and paddle 5-6 km to a site to spend second night and third nights
July 3 Sat - Spend day hiking up to Silver Peak ( 4-5 hours return), highest point of La Cloche range
July 4 Sun - paddle back to Bell 5-6 km ( 2 easy portages) and take out
The costs are
$11 per person per night and $1 per person to non refundable
$9 booking fee.
Total $34 in park fees - payment at time of obtaining permits on Thurs.
Cost of gas depending on carpooling arrangements
Cost of evening accommodations for Wednesday night
Rental canoes can be arranged they will drop off at access point ( I am told).
This trip is suited for people in good physical fitness who are experienced with back country camping.
