Bike Camping, Port Burwell (The Trillium Triathlon)

Ever sleep in ten thousand trillium, full bloom?
Anticipate aroma therapy, times ten to the moon!
Dust off that tour bike, pump up the tire.
Quick inhale, ensure both lungs still fire.
Pick a random road, Lake Erie's shore in May.
Pick a random woodlot, late in the day.
Wait for the dusk, then make a dash.
If farmer's dog stops barking, you're free to crash.
Was a long winter, Spring's finally here.
Poor buggers in the burbs, despite their cold beer.
Hey check it out, the stars now appear.
Lie on your back? No, unpack your gear.
Itinerary:
Set out 7:00 AM, Saturday, May 3, from the Tim Hortons at University and Fischer Hallman, Waterloo. Bike 145 km to Port Burwell Provincial Park whatever for the night.
Return Sunday, May 4.
For the proposed route please reference http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5916935 (detouring via Paris to meetup potential riders). South of the 403 the route travels on quiet country roads of what was once a bustling tobacco growing area. At times you'll swear you're in rural Alabama.
Cost:
Less than you'd accrue on the couch at home eating Hagen Daz.
Difficulty:
You kept in shape over winter correct? You're ready for 145 km per day with camping gear in tow? No problem.
Optional: To complete The Trillium Triathlon one must sprint the full length of Port Burwell's levee and dive into Lake Erie after the bike. Port Burrrr well!
