Winter Snowshoe Camping At Stormhaven

Sat, Feb 2, 2019 · 9:30 AM – Sun, Feb 3 · Bruce Peninsula National Park

Alrighty winter campers here's the low down on this trip. We are to gather at the parking lot# 2 At the Cypress lake campground. Our route is as follows. We'll leave the Tamerac campground by snowshoe and head towards the head of trails. Then from there we will make our way to the Bruce trail. Once on the Bruce we'll find our selves winding in and out up and down. Before we find ourselves at our Backcountry spot for the night "Stormhaven".

After finding our spots for the night we'll cook up some supper and if the cloud cover is minimal a chilly star gazing session is very much in the itinerary.

Sunday morning pack up camp. Cook up some good food. Then head back to the cars.

Logistics

Carpooling arrange for carpooling to save money and fuel. Divide the cost of fuel fairly and remember not all vehicles burn fuel at the same rate.
