Sea Kayaking Georgian Bay

Update: the trip is now full. If you’re interested in attending, have your name on the Waitlist because if someone has to bail, that’s where I’ll look for a replacement.

This trip is a 4-day, 3-night sea kayak paddle on Georgian Bay. We drive up Aug 8, launch the next morning, and find some crown land where we'll base camp. We'll return to our cars Aug 12. This trip is suitable for paddlers with some sea kayaking experience.

Trip details and a spreadsheet will be sent by email. No pets on this trip, thanks. There's no charge for camping on crown land, so trip costs will be low - gas and food. If you're renting a kayak, we're working with Killarney Outfitters.

Upon posting this trip, I tell the Meetup software the trip is full, so your RSVP puts you on the Waitlist and indicates your agreement with the terms of the Co-Participant Understanding. Following your RSVP, your next step is to contact me, by Meetup message or email, to discuss your experience level and related info.

There's always someone to lend a hand on KWBT Meetup trips, but you are responsible for your own transportation, food, gear, and personal safety. You can contact me with any questions.
