Sea Kayaking, Killarney - Georgian Bay

'Big Rock' last weekend.
I can't think of a better way to spend the weekend than getting lost amongst 30,000 islands in a sea kayak. Pick a private bay for a swim. Pick a private rock to climb for a vista. Pick a private ridge to pitch a tent and watch the sun go down. Brave the waves, paddle far enough out there and there ain't nobody. Welcome back to backcountry!
Itinerary:
Friday, the earlier the better, drive 477 km north to Killarney, Ontario. Camp somewhere (Killarney Outfitters' field if renting kayaks from them).
Saturday, purchase Chikanishing Access Point permits from Killarney Provincial and head out. Pick islands to explore along Phillip Edward Island's south shore based on wind speed and direction. (Green Island beyond the Hawks and Foxes chains has been thumbing its nose for too long now).
Sunday, Return to Killarney area mid afternoon then head home, or preferably extend the tour another day if participants can get Monday off.
